I applied online. The process took 2 weeks – interviewed at MasTec in February 2015.Interview Details
Fairly easy process. Issa an ad I my local Craigslist and went to the site. The website confirmed there were positions available. I filled out the application and took the assessment online. A week or so later I received an email asking if I was still interested and to provide best phone number. The next morning I received a phone call from a recruiter. She conducted a very simple screen consisting of are you under 300 pounds with a 25 pound tool belt? Are you comfortable working up to 6 days a week including holidays? Are are comfortable on a ladder? Are you willing to work outdoors? Are you familiar with using hand tools? After that a face to face was scheduled for later that same morning.
The interview was fairly standard. It was conducted by a supervisor. General customer service type scenarios. Tell them about yourself and how you handle yourself in situations. At the end they tell you you will receive and email if you got the job. Later that night I received that emailInterview Questions
