Maxim Integrated Products is an international company that designs, manufactures, and sells highly integrated analog and mixed-signal semiconductor products. We are unique among semiconductor companies in the range of disparate analog functions that we can combine onto a single chip. As a leader in analog innovation and integration, we help customers get to market faster with systems that are smaller and consume less power. We serve 35,000 customers in primarily the consumer, industrial, and communications markets.
Maxim was founded in 1983 by a nine-person team with substantial experience and vision in engineering. The company went public in 1987 and has been profitable ever since. Today, we have 9,300 employees with roughly half in the U.S. and the other half around the world.
Maxim has design technology centers, sales offices, and manufacturing and test facilities around the globe. The current president and chief executive officer (CEO), Tunç Doluca, started at Maxim as a design engineer in 1984. He became CEO in 2007.
