    I worked at Mayer Brown

    Pros

Sophisticated work, brilliant people, and great working culture. Great place to learn the skills of your practice area.

    Cons

Very demanding work, but that's part of the deal working in a very large law firm. Important to work with partners that have thriving practices and share the wealth.

    Advice to Management

In talking to partners recently, sounds like the firm is moving in a great direction. Lots of positive trajectory. Congrats to management!

    Application

I applied online. The process took 4+ weeksinterviewed at Mayer Brown (New York, NY) in February 2015.

    Interview

It was a pretty straightforward process. I applied online and received an email for a phone screen. About a week later I was asked to come in and meet with some HR members and a couple lawyers. About a week later I met with a couple more lawyers. They waited three weeks before letting me know I didn't get the position, which was annoying.
