    I have been working at Mazda North American Operations full-time for more than a year


    Benefits/work life family balance/nice bonuses/excellent car program


    There's a couple more people that should have been encouraged to take the package offered 2 years ago. A couple people are allowed to sour work relationships because they've been there awhile and kiss up to the higher ups.

    Also our advertising spend has jumped big time. We need relevant commercials though. Not Mia Ham, Bruce Lee, and Duran Duran. We could learn from Toyota, Buick, and Kia.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Give decent merits to folks that get it done! Additionally, look outside the box more often.

    I applied online - interviewed at Mazda North American Operations.

    Interview Details

    Found internship online and applied through the Mazda USA website, got an email from recruitment person to set up a phone interview with them. Then had a phone interview with the hiring manager. Since I wasn't in the area yet I did not do an in person interview. They did extensive background check and drug test. Once everything checked out they offered me the position.
