    Pros

Long standing culture of caring about people. Cooperative atmosphere, Good work-life balance. Fair pay. Good benefits. Long tenure. A truly nice place to work.

    Cons

Conservative about change, but becoming more agile. Current focus on acquisitions is resulting in some growing pains. Time in grade can be quite lengthy and frustrating for some.

    Advice to Management

Rotate talent more frequently. Flatten decision making. Share best practices across functions. Provide technical training for commonly used tools (SAP, etc.).

    Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeksinterviewed at McCormick & Company.

    Interview

Fairly easy process; the HR team is open with communication lines between potential employers as well as employee candidates. The in-person interview process was vigorous. There were several rounds of interviews with various members of the hiring team (from HR to the direct supervisor to the VP of the department that I would be working with).

    Interview Questions

    • Have you ever been a part of a team project where one of the members was more than a little difficult to work with and how did you handle that?   Answer Question
