"Choosing McGladrey as my first employer after college really helped jump start my career.”
-Peter, Senior Associate
“I have worked with a variety of clients from car dealerships, to wholesale clients, to logistics trucking companies and not one of them has been the same as the others. This is a great experience because I get to learn about a variety of businesses and this will help me to tailor my specialties in the future.”

I have been working at McGladrey LLP full-time for more than 3 yearsPros
The people are great and you will learn a lot from each engagement. In the summer you will have some down time to recoup from busy season. If you need a flex schedule they are more than willing to accommodate. The raises are a decent % however, the work load just gets harder.Cons
Personal growth can be a challenge if you don't get into the "A Team" your first busy season or if you rub a certain partner the wrong way it can destroy your career at McGladrey. Some people are outgoing and will teach/help you with something even if your not working on their client but most are too overwhelmed with their own work and would rather just finish your work for you.Advice to ManagementAdvice
The training received on the job needs to improve. The week long training is helpful but it doesn't cover most issues that are encountered at clients. Often in-charges and managers have no time to assist you and really walk through things so you can really take away from the experience.RecommendsPositive OutlookApproves of CEO

I met the firm at a career fair initially applying for an internship postion. I ended up interviewing with the firm on campus and was accepted to their leadership program. At the program the firm interviewed for internship positions. The interviews were certainly a surprise to the candidates as the interviews were not shown explicitly on the schedule.Interview Questions
- Not very technical questions. The most difficult questions for me were behavioral questions, but with a few good stories in mind they become easier to answer. Answer Question
