Former Employee - Out Patient Therapist in San Dimas, CA

I worked at Mckinley Childrens Center full-time (more than 3 years)

You get a lot of client hours, which is good if you're an intern. Good place to start if you are a new therapist because you get a lot of experience with different mental disorders.

You are expected to go to a lot of trainings on holidays, most of which do not apply to you. There can be disorganization and confusion about who is doing what. Not good work/life balance. Therapists are stressed out

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Let employees have those 3 day weekends. The employees appreciate the time off to spend with their families. Limit after work activities. Don't treat employees like a number.

    Positive Outlook
