I worked at MediaMind full-time (more than 3 years)

In 2014, Sizmek (formerly Mediamind) really managed to turn around their culture following the departure from DG. Now have a strong set of global values and the company is very globally connected. Progression is available. There is always plenty of work to do when competing with Doubleclick/Google. Some very talented people work there who are loyal to the company that used to be Eyeblaster years ago. With over 44 offices worldwide it still feels like a small company and its easy to get things done and make decisions. Very flexible in terms of remote working policy and attire. Local offices are always in high spirits and greet travelers with open arms making it fun to travel.

Needs better support around initial training. Having such a global company can be a challenge, especially when so many developers are based in Israel. Need to have a thick skin for occasional client gripes and master clear communication with teams overseas.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Its time for Sizmek to grow its employee base so as not to overwork the loyal folks putting in extra hours. The company is doing well so it makes sense. Keep compensation competitive (admittedly not easy).

    Client Services Manager Interview

    Anonymous Employee in Austin, TX
    Application Details

I applied online. The process took 2 weeksinterviewed at MediaMind.

    Interview Details

I applied for the Client Services Manager position directly through the Sizmek (formerly MediaMind) website. I was contacted by email within a couple of days to set up an initial phone interview with HR. She was extremely pleasant, and the phone interview was quick and painless, as the HR rep had a packed schedule and many people to speak with. Shortly after I had a second phone interview with the woman I would have reported to. Also a pleasant experience. I then had a 2-hour in-person interview at the Austin offices, and met with 5 team members. Everyone was professional, personable, and conducted a great interview.

    Interview Questions
    • None of the questions were particularly unexpected - most questions were about my background, how I've dealt with difficult client interactions, and why I was interested in being in a client-facing position.   Answer Question
    Reasons for Declining

Within a few days of my in-person interview, I received an offer for the position. Ultimately, I decided to decline based solely on the fact that I received an offer from another company as well, where I felt my experience aligned more closely. I know I would have been very happy at Sizmek (formerly MediaMind), and had I not received the other offer, I would have happily accepted this one.
