    Health Plan Specialist I Interview

    Application Details

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeksinterviewed at Medica in April 2014.

    Interview Details

The interview itself was pretty typical and easy. Normal questions, talked to an HR rep and then to a panel of two or three supervisors. They were very nice and easy to talk to. The questions were easy. They talked a lot about benefits which are pretty decent so it made the position seem a lot more tempting. But then again it's a health insurance company, so they darn well should have good benefits. It took FOREVER for the job to start after I accepted, the training class didn't start until about a month later.

    Negotiation Details
Maybe I am just bad at negotiating, but it seemed kind of take it or leave it... I mean it's entry level and a lot of people are looking for jobs in this day and age, so I don't really think there's much to negotiate.
