I have been working at Medicity

The people are some of the brightest I've worked with; always at the forefront of technology and riding the bleeding edge; good atmosphere, most employees want to be there.

Communication fails all over the place - right hand not talking to the left, even within the same department. Software sometimes is prematurely released and causes major headaches for account managers, developers, QA, and operations. No budgets.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Please find a better way to facilitate communication within the company. Structural changes, benefits changes, etc sometimes don't get communicated to the populace until the week of the change or even later. Instill the idea that innovation, efficiency, and quality are most important. Stop doing things that are not always the best way, and LISTEN TO/TRUST YOUR EMPLOYEES when they tell you something is broken!

I applied online. The process took 2 weeksinterviewed at Medicity.

    Interview Details

Initially received a phone call to set up a phone interview. The phone interview was with 3 people who were all very kind. The interview portion was very formal starting with all the regular questions such as tell me about yourself, What are your weaknesses, Why would you be a good fit. I answered all the questions to the best of my ability. As they described the role of the position, they made it sound very daunting which I'm sure was not their intent but it came off as a scare tactic. The over all feel was very relaxed.
