Medpace is a Young Thriving Company! They are one of the fastest growing Clinical Research companies in Cincinnati. I needed a job that was flexible with my education, so they worked with my schedule where I could be full-time during the summer and part-time during the school year. I like how Medpace is very aware of all the needs of their employees. The company has a brand new state of the art LEED certified campus and has always created a comfortable work environment for myself. I love how Medpace also provides casual dress throughout each business day for its employees. Workers get to enjoy very well organized training opportunities, that have personally helped me understand my individual roles and contributions to the company. I feel as though there is excellent room for potential advancement within this company. I was offered both a competitive salary and great benefits. They even provide lunch every day in their on campus cafeteria, which I find rewarding since I don’t have to pack a lunch! Another resource I found is that they provide me and my immediate family members a 24/7 weight and exercise facility. I have also enjoyed the friendly help and advice that has been offered to me by my co-workers, making me feel welcome. I applied online. The process took 2 months - interviewed at Medpace in May 2014.Interview Details
I applied online the very last week in March and was contacted in April to do my first phone interview with a CRA manager. The first phone interview was very weird. Instead of being asked questions, it was mostly the manager telling me about the position and what it entails while they take notes on your answers. It was mostly like an information session with strategic questioning in order to see if they want to consider you further. At the end of the first phone interview I was told that my notes from the first interview would be analyzed and a second phone interview would be set if they still wanted to consider me.
The second interview was your typical phone interview where they get a feel for your character & how you are able to sell yourself. It is important during this interview to make sure you are able to interact well with the person conducting the interview. During this process they strategically want to see how you would interact with sponsors if you were hired. Make sure during this process you are able to clearly convey your CV credentials.
After my second phone interview I was offered a Face-to-Face interview at the Dallas(Irving,Tx) location. I was interviewed by two ppl at once which was a CRA manager and Lead CRA. It was a typical Q&A type of interview. I was asked what salary range I wanted and it was added to my file. After all of the questions I took a writing assessment and the question was to describe why a CRA is important in the CRO industry. You get about 15mins to write a response and turn it in.
After my interview I received a call the next day saying that they were really impressed with my interview and offered me another position and wanted to see if I was open to be considered for more than one position. I received my final offer a week later. The entire process did take a awhile & I accepted my offer in the beginning of May. Overall I would say the process was fairly smooth.Interview Questions
