I have been working at Melaleuca full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

The company cares a great deal for it's customers, especially the marketing executives. They are also very involved with creating new products that are environmentally and physically safe.

    Cons

The pay isn't that great and the workload can be a little strenuous. Too many people leave for other opportunities that pay more for the work you are supposed to be doing. Promoting within the company isn't rewarded as much as being externally hired. Worked there for 10 years, and paid $5,000 less / year than an immediate hire.

    Advice to Management

Treat your existing employees better. People are being offered better jobs but not for better companies. You can stop this from happening

    Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Melaleuca.

    Interview

Interview was lengthy, requiring approximately 30 minutes interviews with each of the 4 managers, the VP, and HR. They all asked relatively basic interview questions. It seemed to be more of a conversational interview to learn about personality than an actual attempt to determine credentials. Overall fairly easy and straightforward interview.
