I worked at Meltwater Group full-time (Less than a year)
Great place to cut your teeth in sales if you're a higher performer and like a challenge. You will be pushed in a good way past your comfort zone (especially if you have a great manager). Re the ratings below on comp and benefits: Like any sales position, they're only SPECTACULAR if you're a CLOSER. If you like going through the motions and making calls to hit your production metrics, this is NOT the place for you. Sales is about closing deals and you will have the opportunity here.
Lack of residual commissions makes eat-what-you-kill (now) all the more important, but earning potential is solid (e.g. you can make $160k+ if you're good; some people undoubtedly made $200k+ being <25 years old). Cold calling only was the primary focus. Greater open-mindedness to other, more comprehensive, sales strategies and tactics may have proved useful. That said, the company is wildly successful, so what they're doing must be working.
Advice to Management
Keep up the great work.
