Meltwater’s corporate culture stems from our three values:

• Moro ['mo(·)ro]– Norwegian for “fun”. In order to be successful, people must enjoy what they do, and we provide a work environment that facilitates this.
• Enere ['e nðr'e] – Norwegian for “number one”. Meltwater aims to be the game-changer: average is not good enough. We are not afraid of the hard work it takes to get there!
• Respekt [re'spekt]– Norwegian for “respect”. Although we have very high standards, we believe that it matters how you get to number one. We are always respectful towards our clients, colleagues and competition.

The acronym for these values is “MER” which means “more” in Norwegian.

Meltwater has a very flat management structure: there are no corner offices, and all management is accessible as they sit with everyone else. Having a global mindset is important to Meltwater, and our offices often have a cosmopolitan vibe as a result of our international placements.
