I worked at Mercury Solar Systems full-time (more than a year)

Fast moving, entrepreneurial firm that moved into commercial, utility scale and residential solar systems. They grew very fast, expanding from 70 employees in the beginning of 2010 to over 240 by 2011.

Market meltdown in NJ exposed some glaring weaknesses in cash flow management, costing, and HR policies. Widespread layoffs among both important and peripheral staff led to serious discontentment and the eventual firing of the CEO. Today it is run by financial folks and much of the upbeat spirit has been beaten out of them

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Create better internal SOPs on sales methodology and financing capabilities.
