I worked at Mercy Behavioral Health full-time (more than a year)

Great colleagues, numerous job opportunities within the organization, good benefits.

Overwhelming amount of work that far exceeds scheduled work hours. As no overtime is paid, the organization has no incentive to limit the duties and requirements of employees. A salaried employee can easily work 60+ hours/week for 37.5 hours of pay.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

High employee turnover impacts the quality of care given to MBH patients/clients. Consider the long term impacts of excessive attrition; the cost of recruiting, training, and employee burnout burdens the organization and the remaining employees--who continue the cycle.
