MicroPact is a fun place to work in a lot of ways. An open concept office plus a young staff make for a fun environment. Benefits are very competitive with 100% paid health/dental insurance. There's also 3 weeks PTO to start and a 4th week can be "purchased."
The company is young so there are limited processes in place. Upper management drives hard for processes to be created. MicroPact works their employees hard. Almost every department is understaffed, especially the departments that support the professional services and sales teams. 50+ hour weeks are the norm in certain departments. MicroPact also has a tendency to make promises to their employees that are not fulfilled. Bonuses have been promised multiple times by management and never given to certain employees. There was also a promise of a company massage therapist that was never followed through on.
Advice to Management
Better planning by management would improve work/life balance.

I applied online. The process took a week – interviewed at MicroPact in March 2015.
Submitted application/resume on-line. Had a phone screen that seemed to go well and the recruiter talked about how awesome the company is as far as flexibility and benefits but I didn't hear back from them. I followed up with an email and still didn't hear back. I realize that recruiters may be busy but a thank you but no thank you would have been nice.
