Over two centuries ago, a small medicine shop was opened in Doshomachi, Osaka, Japan to provide medicines to local merchants and doctors. This was the beginning of the present-day Takeda family of pharmaceutical companies. Many generations later, in 1998, Takeda Pharmaceuticals U.S.A., Inc. (TPUSA) was introduced.
Takeda Development Center Americas (TDC Americas) was established in 2004 and its 600 employees are responsible for Takeda's clinical research and development in the U.S. and for supporting clinical and product development activity for TPUSA. With a robust pipeline of compounds in development for the central nervous system, metabolic and cardiovascular diseases, respiratory and immunology, oncology and general medicine, Takeda rapidly brings innovative products to market to improve patient health and enhance the practice of medicine.

I have been working at Millennium PharmaceuticalsPros
Amazingly patient-centric focus. Leader in onco TA and sincere desire to cure cancerous diseases is the under-lying philosophy of this organization.Cons
Many staff and mgt resentful of Takeda. This is exhibited by no shows for business critical meetings, arrogant attitudes, sabatoging behaviors - way too many egos!!!!Advice to ManagementAdvice
If leaders at all levels are not on board with new Corporate Management and they aren't coachable. Release them. Continuing to employ unhappy employees creates a toxic environment that will not be improved by keeping the toxic entity in place.Doesn't RecommendPositive OutlookNo opinion of CEO
