Monitise – Why Work For Us?

Monitise plc (LSE: MONI.L) is a world leader in Mobile Money - banking, paying and buying with a mobile device. Leading banks, payments companies, retailers, mobile networks and media owners use Monitise's technology platforms and services to securely connect people with their money in developed and emerging markets.

Monitise was founded in 2003 when founder Alastair Lukies saw the potential of using the mobile phone for more than simply a text or call. He wanted to link banks and mobile operators, thereby empowering consumers to manage their finances or make payments directly from their mobile, anytime, anywhere.

From an innovative idea, Monitise has built the world's first mobile banking, payments and commerce ecosystem. Today, our team provides services to more than 350 financial institutions and other leading brands globally.

With offices in the UK, the USA, Turkey and the Middle East, Hong Kong and Indonesia, we are enabling trusted and secure mobile banking, payment and commerce solutions for clients and consumers everywhere.

The success of Monitise is defined by its people. As the global leader in Mobile Money solutions, we are focused on leading the development of the industry across the globe. Everyone, at all levels of the organization, participates actively in this process, whether developing our platform and services, working with our customers and partners across the globe or making our internal infrastructure tick.

Our structure reflects this: we don't believe in unnecessary hierarchies and our senior management team encourages an open collaborative environment where everyone is encouraged to share their ideas. This is also reflected in our office layout - you won't find senior management in large corner offices here and our developers sit next to our commercial team, our marketers alongside our accountants. This gives everyone a better idea of what's happening across the whole business and how they contribute to the overall success of the company.

The people who succeed here are committed about our business, relish a challenge, use their initiative and take every opportunity to push themselves and the company forward. In return, we offer competitive salaries and bonuses, as well as a host of other benefits.
