    There have been struggles over a united vision and mission for the company in the last few years.

    Advice to Management

    Communication with employees on plans, successes and challenges is essential. The official communication on these important topics are too far and few between.

    I applied online. The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at Monsoon Commerce (Portland, OR) in April 2014.


    Applied online and was contacted by their HR person for an initial phone screen. About 2 weeks later was contacted again by a different HR person for a more detailed phone interview. About 2 weeks later was contacted by another HR rep asking to setup a time to speak with the hiring manager. The conversation with the hiring manager went well, he was very clear in what skills & experience were important. I made up my mind about 10 minutes into the interview that this was not the job for me or the type of company I want to work for. The company is in serious decline with the current product line trending towards irrelevant in a shrinking market. They are desperately in need of finding new sources of revenue or ways to squeeze their current product line for more revenue.
