I have been working at Motion Computing full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Small company that casts a large shadow. Motion finds a way to compete with larger companies like Panasonic and Fujistu. Lots of fast paced projects to cut your teeth on. Lots of hats to wear to build your skill set and define a role.

    Cons

As of now the company seems like a spring board instead of a long term employer. Advancement opportunities are few and far between. Very top heavy with senior management - too many chiefs not enough indians. Stressful at times due ambitious projects and limited resources.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

More transparency into the financial standing of the company would be great.
The review process is terrible and leaves much to be desired - consider having a full-time HR on hand or refine the review process to allow for employee input.
