I have been working at Multi-Tech Systems full-time (less than an year)Pros
Lots of (good) changes in upper level management in the last since 6 months, including a new CEO and CTO. This is created a lot of optimism in the company. A lot of upper level management, including the CEO and CTO are very technical. This means Multi-Tech is very "tech-driven". Furthermore, promised changes and actions are being implemented. Around 10 people have been hired in the past couple months, mostly engineers. Here's to becoming the leader in designing, manufacturing and providing global data communication produces, services, and solutions that expand the connected world!
Engineers get their own 12'x12' cube which can be very customized with sitting or standing desk, lighting over your cube on/off, etc.Cons
There are tons of different systems for different things that are not integrated at all or very much. This includes benefits, payroll stuff, version control, test systems, wiki's, etc. However, currently there are actions being taken to consolidate these and make this much better.RecommendsPositive OutlookNo opinion of CEO

- Application Details
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks – interviewed at Multi-Tech Systems in June 2014.Interview Details
I was moving from out of state and sent out resumes a couple months ahead of time. Multi-Tech contacted me and schedule an initial 40 min phone interview with the HR director to gather more information. A few weeks later, they contacted me to schedule a phone interview with the Engineering director and product support manager. However, I was visiting MN that week and so we had the interview in person. The interview was very relaxed and did not include very many of the typical interview questions ("tell us about your", etc).Interview Questions
Negotiation DetailsThe HR director was very nice, easy to talk to, and very informative. I was not able to negotiate the salary. It seemed like they really, really wanted me, and so gave me the very best salary in the offer that they could.
- There were not any difficult or unexpected questions. Answer Question
I was able to negotiate Paid Time Off from the normal starting of 10 days/year up to 16 days/year.Accepted OfferPositive ExperienceAverage Interview
