I have been working at MyWebGrocer full-time (More than 5 years)
As a developer, you will: - Get to work with smart developers - Use standard methodologies (design patterns, unit testing, etc) - Find good wiki documentation - Enjoy great culture & benefits, free coffee - Work in an artsy building - remodeled woolen mill, lots of bricks - Park in covered parking
- A bit sales driven, however never a lack of work - Building is cold year-round - Cubicle noise can sometimes spill over
Advice to Management
Continue to encourage professional growth. Developers have a lot of great ideas.
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at MyWebGrocer (Winooski, VT) in October 2015.
First step is a telephone screen with HR Recruiter. Once past that, the face-to-face interview is with the hiring manager. Do your research on the company website in advance! MWG expects a candidate to know about the company products and priorities. Skills will have been on resume, but be ready with stories to demonstrate how those skills have been applied. Real goal of interview is assessing fit.
