If you can work more than 4 days a week, the pay is good for part time work.
They treat the standardized patients as "other" employees- there are no benefits and certain policies do not apply to SPs. Upper management seems to think SPs are "lesser" workers than the full time employees.
Advice to Management
Treat the standardized patients like you treat the other full time employees. Health insurance would be nice.
Getting an Interview
Getting an Interview
- No OfferNegative ExperienceAverage Interview
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks – interviewed at NBOME (Chicago, IL) in February 2015.
The interview was held with two different groups of employees (three employees in each group) with lower-level employees in the first group and higher level employees in the second. What amazes me to this day is that it's been nearly two months since the interview and I still haven't heard anything from the company. Even after emailing the HR rep, I haven't received any kind of response. If I didn't get the job (which I assume is the case) someone could have at least contacted me via email or phone to let me know. I find the company's conduct extremely unprofessional, but it says a lot about the way things are handled at NBOME, I guess.
- The interview questions were fairly standard: questions about my background, dealing with difficult situations, etc. Answer Question
