I have been working at NEC Australia full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

In the Business Solutions arm in Western Australia we have a great talent pool, a lot of reusable IP, strong culture in many teams and good local managers. Salaries are generally fair, but perhaps not in every area. We are amongst the leaders nationally in terms of business and process maturity. Regardless of titles, there is always an opportunity to grow skillsets

    Cons

Pipeline growth can be a challenge, middle management career options can be limited

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Continue to invest in the state and don't let us suffer from lack of training and professional development for extended periods if other areas are doing badly. We risk dissolving our centres of excellence. Be more collaborativein your restructuring decisions to get more buy in

    Interview Questions
    • List past telecom projects and describe them   Answer Question
    • Simple puzzle on a team working on two areas, one of double size compared to the other. Team is divided into two areas and work for half a day. For the second half of that day, team is merged to work in the big room. They finish the bigger area within that day. One team member needs to come back to complete the work in the other room the next day. It takes the whole day.

How many people in the team?
