    I worked at NES GLOBAL full-time

    Pros

    -NES Global is well respected in the oil and gas industry as well as recruitment
    -You get off early on Fridays
    -Nice people
    -You will get valuable recruitment experience and also allows you to expand your network
    -Praise those who do good work
    -Treat employees well for the most part
    -Great way to get into the Human Resources field

    Cons

    -The pay sucks
    -No sense of direction
    -no time for growth and development
    -show favoritism toward their own meaning that they show favoritism towards Brits over Americans
    -Beware of Paul steals placements, lies, and is a jerk
    -No really a long term career
    -They pay low and sale you on bonuses when other staffing agencies have better pay and better bonuses. Salary is 36k a year and bonuses scheme is Contracts 2.5% per contractor Perm: is 10% of what the company makes off the deal. You can get 45-65k as a 360 recruiter with better bonus package.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    -Make a decision on how to expand business and stick to it
    -Hire more Americans
    -Stop doing 360 recruitment unless your going to pay more plus you have a business development team let them do their job like seriously

    Application Details

    I applied online. The process took 2 months - interviewed at NES GLOBAL in June 2014.

    Interview Details

    It took about 3 weeks after I submitted my application via the company's website. I got a 30-minute phone interview which included motivational and competency-based questions. About 1 month later they sent me an invitation to the Assessment Centre. Before the assessment, I must complete personality and numerical & verbal tests (usually this would happen on the day, however this time they would like me to complete both tests prior to the assessment centre). Assessment centre started from 8:30 am, included: introductions and presentation, group exercise (business simulation, writing and client interviews role play). Last part of the day was competency-based interviews (only half of the candidates made it).
