    Anonymous Employee in Fairfax, VA
    Application Details

I applied online. The process took 8 weeks - interviewed at NRA in May 2014.

    Interview Details

Applied by sending a cover letter and resume to an NRA hiring email. An HR representative sent me an extensive application to complete (with previous job info, skills, education, etc.) and signed a waiver for a background check. After a couple weeks I received a phone call from HR requesting an interview.

First interview: 30 min spelling and grammar test, 30 min Microsoft Excel test, 30 min Microsoft Word test, and 45 minute interview with a manager of the relevant department.

Second interview: 1 hr interview with senior manager of relevant department. Required a 500 word writing sample assigned by the interviewer within 24-hours prior to interview. Prompt: what would you change about the NRA brand?
