I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Nanometrics (Milpitas, CA) in June 2015.
Applied thru LinkedIn and recruiter called in about 2 weeks. Recruiter was highly engaged from the first phone interview. Nanometrics acted really fast and organized in person interviews within a week. I went thru 4 rounds of interviews with about 10 senior employees. All the interviews were well organized, started and ended on-time and interviewees were prepared. There were no repeated questions which shows they had pre-interview meetings so they don't ask the same questions - in my experience not many companies are as prepared. Recruiter called me a day after each interview to get my feedback and kept me updated on the next steps. Overall a great interview experience - 5 stars.
- Most questions were specific to my experience and how I will fit into their culture. Be prepared to convince them why you want to join a mid-sized company. Answer Question
