I have been working at National 4-H Council as a contractor (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Very good work-life balance. Complex work that is challenging yet rewarding. Very dedicated employees, most of whom grew up in the 4-H system and have strong personal experiences to draw on when doing their work at the national scope.

    Cons

Highly indecisive upper management. Some political games & silo-ing.

I applied online. The process took 3+ monthsinterviewed at National 4-H Council.

    Interview Details

It was a long interview process. The first contact was via phone with a followup call about a month later. Almost two month later, there was in person panel interview. The questions seemed standard. However, it was the first time I saw a panel read questions from a list as if everything was scripted.
