I worked at National Association of Boards of Pharmacy as a contractor

    Pros

Everybody seems to have great work ethic. You get a lot of ownership (even as a temp) in the projects you are involved in.

    Cons

There doesn't seem to be a lot of upward movement or growth. People tend to stay in the same positions for years. Project managers seem to be very limited by what their developers are telling them. Biggest frustration was while trying to implement new programs user friendliness didn't seem to be a priority even thought the project manager was really trying to make it happen.

    Advice to Management

Better project planning prior to implementing live version. Allow full time employees to work more than 35 hours.

    Application

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took a week. I interviewed at National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (Mount Prospect, IL).

    Interview

I was first contacted by an employment agency for a different position and while interviewing with them I was told about this position. I then had a phone interview with NABP which was a panel interview and then next day offered the position through the employment agency. They requested I start within a week which I was available and happy to do.

    Interview Questions
