The Five Talls
The "Five Talls" are used to reference Nestlé Purina's values as an organization. The term "Talls" has a rich history in the Purina culture, referencing Ralston Purina's originating values that date back to the company's founder, William H. Danforth. Mr. Danforth believed each person has not one, but four lives to live. A man's ingredients for life, he said, are a body, a mind, a personality, and character, and all four must grow in balance with each other. These values – Integrity, Passion, Expertise, and Performance – were known to Purina associates as "The Four Talls". The fifth "Tall", Innovation, was added in 2009 to demonstrate Nestlé Purina's commitment to value, expect, and promote curiosity and innovative thinking in our associates.

Nestlé Purina offers medical, dental, and vision benefits packages to meet a variety of health needs. These packages include options for family and domestic partners. These packages also include life insurance, disability and employee assistance at no cost to the employee. We also offer a variety of cost-saving preventative programs through HealthWorks – our on campus associate health and wellness program.
Associates have the opportunity to save on a before-tax basis through convenient payroll deductions. Nestlé also offers employer matching contributions.

Many Nestlé Purina associates are eligible for an annual bonus incentive program based on company performance.
Pet Adoption Program
Nestlé Purina provides $200 to any associate who adopts or becomes a pet owner to help with various costs and fees associated with bringing a pet into your home.
Rewards and Recognition
Associates are recognized for a variety of efforts and achievements, such as anniversary rewards, performance awards associated with our company's 5 Talls and many more.
Set aside pre-tax income for reimbursement of eligible dependent daycare and health care expenses not otherwise covered.
Associates can also take advantage of auto and home insurance, as well as prepaid legal services, which can be purchased at special rates.
Educational Reimbursement Program
Associates who to choose to go back to school can apply for assistance paying for tuition, books, and fees.
Infant Formula Program
Nestlé Purina associates with infants up to 12 months old may receive up to 32 store coupons for any type of Nestlé Infant Formula.
Adoption Assistance Program
Nestlé Purina helps associates with a portion of the cost of adoption.

I got contacted about a week after I applied online regarding setting up a time for a phone interview. This was done via email. The person whom I talked to was very nice and polite. We then set up the initial phone interview about a week later.
The phone call was on time. The interview was split up into sections. The interviewer explained the position and also described salary, benefits, and the environment of the company. We then moved on to reviewing my resume. Most questions involved describing previous work experiences and explaining why I had selected my career path. Simple. The next part involved behavioral based questions. Basic behavioral questions were asked and had to explain the situation, what I did and the outcome.Interview Questions
