    Pros

The New Brunswick Public School District provides the opportunity to gain valuable teaching experience in an urban setting. While it can be a challenge at times you are justly compensated. Being an inner-city school district the students can be very difficulty. Fortunately, administration will support you in a fair manner. There are resources available, such as other faculty members or administrators, and the main office is always a phone call away. Being a large school district with numerous facilities at the elementary, middle and high school levels there is always an abundance of substitute positions that require being filled. That said, you can expect a phone call basically everyday asking for help.

    Cons

Being a large institution it is easy to get "lost".

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Encourage more college-student substitute teachers to choose teaching as a career.
