New South is an awesome company to work for. It was voted #1 Best Place to Work in Atlanta 2014 (Medium Companies). New South operates and treats employees with a small company feel but yet competing and providing growth and benefits like a large company. The couple of negative reviews made previously seem to have come from disgruntled employees and do not reflect the way this company is to work for. Executive level employees are involved with everyone and they do everything to make sure everyone is happy with their work and life at New South. The company actually listens to it's employees and makes changes based on what people want. Choosing to accept a job here has been the best decision of my life. New South is an outstanding place to work with great potential for upward advancement.
I cannot think of any downsides at this point. As long as you do your job and put in the extra effort, everything is awesome.
Advice to Management
Keep doing a great job.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks – interviewed at New South Construction (Atlanta, GA) in May 2013.
Interviews are very relaxed and have a great casual feel. I interviewed the first time direct with a Vice President and SPM. Came into the office and met with a few guys and talked about my experience while attending college. After about 30 minutes of talking, we went out for lunch. We had small casual talk about my life and hobbies and touched a bit on work. I was invited back one more time and went around the office, speaking to different employees in a casual/social interview-type setting. They just wanted to make sure I had the social skills to relate with everyone and also able to talk about work-related topics comfortably. I then recieved a call to come back in for an offer. The third visit was strictly business and short. A VP made me an offer and explained all of the benefits and details of the company.
