I worked at New York City Transit Authority as an intern for less than a year

Incredible litigation experience. First week in, and I already went to federal court to observe proceedings. The chance to sit in on depositions and write briefs on cases involving employment law, contracts or affirmative litigation. You have an opportunity to explore different areas of law.

Pace can be slow. The day does not go as fast if you are not going to court. Sometimes the work can be tedious. You may be called upon to read pages upon pages of depositions looking for a single word or phrase.
