Healthcare professionals often ask: “Am I doing everything I can for my patient?” At NewYork-Presbyterian, the answer is a resounding Yes!"
Working at this hospital, Amazing Things are possible: amazing for your patients and your profession. Look them in the eye. Can you see the person behind the patient? Beyond assessment, care and treatment? The decades before the hours in your care? At NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, we’re here to put that patient first. We’re looking for that level of patient focus in you.
Our employees are strong and invaluable people, with access to leadership and uncommonly effective careers. Come provide care for some of the world’s most complex cases, in one of the world’s most diverse patient populations. Our hospital receives over two million patient visits a year. Nationwide, we have among the lowest mortality rates and one of the highest case mix indexes. We’re posting, simultaneously, our highest patient satisfaction AND employee satisfaction scores ever.
Amazing Things occur here every day. We collaborate and achieve our goals.
We realize that becoming a better professional starts with having the right priorities. Across the board, the patient is our first, primary and shared responsibility. We believe the gift of collaboration yields more than the gift of competition. But behind every patient success story, before every clinical breakthrough, stands our uncommon team of healthcare professionals.
For example, during our annual participation in the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer (a two day, 39-mile trek involving an overnight stay on Roosevelt Island), both our Pharmacy and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) departments volunteer to provide free care to participants.
We support you in caring for your patients. From day one, leaders recognize your contribution to our success. Without your efforts, none of our greatest achievements would be possible. That means, across disciplines, we respect what you can do.
We support our employees with the same passion that they provide our patients.
We believe that exceptional professionals make Amazing Things possible. At NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, we position ourselves competitively with compensation, pay and benefits.
Making It Possible
Healthcare professionals come to NewYork-Presbyterian for some element of superior access: access to superlative environments and leadership, to well-funded research, to one-of-a-kind technology. Working here, you’ll be rewarded in many ways, including pay. As you grow professionally, we also support your personal growth.
Our benefits, provided to you and your family, are both comprehensive and adaptable. We pride ourselves on delivering a benefits program that’s fair and equitable. Since we’re always seeking new ways to better address the needs of our people, we regularly review and make changes as needed.

This is a great place to work with great pay and benefits, however, the tenured employees are unhappy and tired of being in the same position for years and will make you feel like you chose the wrong place. Do not allow them to make you feel that way, until you see something wrong with your own 2 eyes do not pay mind to the office politics.Cons
The co-workers who have been in the same position on the same floor for 15 years plus. They are miserable and they let life pass them by so they are mad at themselves not you.Advice to ManagementAdvice
