I worked at Nigel Wright full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

Well located, nice offices, good benefits, good reputation

    Cons

Massive egos, arrogant culture, lack of work-life balance, unsupportive management. They do a very good job of selling the quality of the business and the consultative nature of their work in the interview process but the reality is very different. Poor people management skills and a constant feeling that everything you do is being judged (eg. needing to leave slightly early raises eyebrows). Other employees were unwilling to share their accounts or introduce their contacts.Very clique-ish as an outsider coming in. If you start to miss targets, do not expect a helping hand.

    Application Details

I applied in-person. The process took 4 weeksinterviewed at Nigel Wright in January 2013.

    Interview Details

Very lengthy and seemingly thorough process where I met all relevant managers and team leaders, and was given a frank and honest overview of the company and role. I attended on four separate occasions, which was challenging given I was in full-time employment elsewhere, but they were flexible on time to accommodate this.

    Negotiation Details
I knew that if I was offered the role I would accept, and as the offer met my needs there was no further negotiation.
