    I worked at Nimsoft

    Pros

    Smart and wonderful people to work with. Compensation is at or above market rate. Solid product and engineering team. Overall great experience.

    Cons

    Less of a work life balance early on, but things may have changed. Leadership changed a year after Nimsoft was acquired, which led to less excitement coming from the top.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    It would be tough since the company has grown so much, but getting back into startup mode was one of the most exciting things at Nimsoft.

    Interview Details

    No HR person onsite, went in and met with individual managers, called 'Directors' here. Some had a list of questions, some went ad-hoc and hadn't even read my resume beforehand.

    • None, really. I wasn't asked to write sample code, for example. Just asked, "How well do you know XYZ?"   Answer Question

    They came in with a very high offer, so I accepted on the spot. Later, they took bonuses away.
