I have been working at Old Dominion University

    Pros

You make many connections with different department. This is also a very prestigious title to hold at ODU. The paid is by stipend, so even if you don't put forth a lot of effort, you would still get the same salary. Housing is also reduced to 1K per semester.

    Cons

Some of the policy seems very riddiclous. It's actually a very easy job that doesn't push you to think intellectually and doesn't require many hours.

    Model UN Coordinator Interview

    Application Details

I applied online. The process took 2 weeksinterviewed at Old Dominion University in November 2014.

    Interview Details

I was contacted by email, phone screen, and then a brief 1:1 interview with the director of the Model UN program. I was asked illegal questions about my ethnicity and marriage status in my interview. The director was too lazy to interview me himself so he had students (not student workers- students) interview me who were unprofessional and had no experience conducting interviews/knowledge of EEO/DOL hiring practices.
