    Positive Outlook

I worked at Olga's Kitchen full-time (More than 3 years)

Flexible hours. Constantly talking to people, you learn how to network very quickly. On your feet all day and night so you stay in shape!

Some guests are hard to deal with, like any restaurant job. You will be working weekends. During slow times you may not make a lot of money.

    Advice to Management

Have better scheduling. Know what to order for a shipment. Try unique ways for hiring. Go to job fairs and college campuses.

    Easy Interview

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Olga's Kitchen.

I first met with the assistant manager and had a basic "get to know you" interview. She then set up an interview for me with the store's GM. After a 30 minute conversation (during which I barely got a word in) I was offered the job. There were no hard, hair pulling questions.

The restaurants are found primarily in Michigan, with some units serving areas in Ohio and Illinois. The chain was started by Olga Loizon in 1970. Vice chairman Michael Jordan bought the business in 1976.
