Former Employee - Intern in Santa Clara, CA

I worked at OmniVision Technologies as an intern (less than an year)

    Pros

    Flexible with my schedule
    Friendly environment
Management was kind and willing to help me learn the business
    I was overpaid

    Cons

The building was 75% empty while I was there and my cubicle was on the fringe of the rest of the employees. In an attempt to save energy they kept most of the lights off in areas that didn't have any employees. Since I was on the fringe my cubicle was only partially lit.

OmniVision Technologies gets the big picture with a single chip. The fabless semiconductor company designs semiconductor image sensors (CameraChips) that capture and convert images for cameras, mobile phones, notebooks, and webcams. Its CameraCube device combines the company's image sensors with wafer-level optics for a complete camera module.
