The people here, either new or seasoned, are what make this company what it is. Most are passionate not only about their functions/position but about what OnForce is trying to accomplish. The culture is laid back and flexible, allowing the opportunity to work and play. Personal accountability and overcoming challenges have provided professional growth for many over the past 6 months and will definitely continue long-term.
Previous lack of communication is steadily improving. There isn't much opportunity for outside training, other than tuition reimbursement programs.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at OnForce.
First I had a phone screen with a recruiter, who set me up with a phone interview with the hiring manager. Before speaking with the hiring manager, the recruiting firm initiated another call with me to prep me the interview. So far, so good. My interview with the hiring manager went well, and the recruiter called me to tell me that the hiring mgr. wanted to schedule an in person meeting - so far, very good! Due to bad weather and busy schedules, my on site interview time was not scheduled right away. The recruiter informed me that the company wanted to keep things moving, so they scheduled another phone interview - this time with someone on the team - a younger person who had been there for only a short time compared to the hiring mgr. So far, this process took 2 weeks. I thought my call with the team member went pretty well. Another few days went by and I had to pester the recruiter to find out when my on site would be. Process going on 3.5 weeks now. After all of that, the recruiter informed me that the company had decided to continue their search elsewhere. I was unable to get any further information about why they had suddenly changed their minds. (But I must admit I find it strange that a call with a person who would not have been my superior could have made such an impact.) It would have been helpful to know more about why this happened so I could avoid it in future...
