Patient Access

Onyx is committed to helping patients gain appropriate access to our medicines. 

The Resources for Expert Assistance and Care Helpline (REACH®) is available to answer questions about Nexavar treatment, reimbursement, and patient support.

Onyx Pharmaceuticals 360™ (Onyx 360) is a program designed to help patients navigate their treatment journey, including reimbursement and payment support, treatment support and referrals to third-party organizations for day-to-day and emotional support.

Full-time, regular employees who work a minimum of 30 hours a week and their dependents are eligible to participate in all of our health plans.     I applied online. The process took 4+ weeksinterviewed at Onyx Pharmaceuticals.

    Interview Details

    This is the most disorganized, unprofessional organization that I have ever came in contact with for a job. It started off with a phone interview with a very rude recruiter who wanted you to pretty much express how Onyx is the best thing since sliced bread. She acted like you needed to prove your worthiness to work for Onyx. She asked me three or four times why I wanted to work for Onyx as if my answer would change? Weird...At the end of the call she discussed salary requirements and asked me to think about a lower number because their benefits were so awesome. I said no thank you and she told me to think about it and in the mean time she would schedule me a second phone interview with the Associate Clinical Director. She never called to schedule an interview so I had to email her and ask if they were still interested. She called me and scheduled a phone interview. I had a great phone interview with the Associate Director and was told that I would be getting a call in a couple days to schedule an onsite interview. I was never called. So I emailed the recruiter to touch base and did not receive a response for a few days. When she finally responded she told me that the Director decided that she only wanted to interview local candidates. I emailed her back and let her know that I was moving to San Francisco that same week, so I am a local candidate. No response. Look, if you want to only hire local candidates, that's fine. But don't waste my time with all this pointlessness if that's the case. If the interview process is this disorganized and indecisive, I imagine actually working there is worse!
