I have been working at Ooyala as an intern for less than a yearPros
Amazing dynamic company culture, which really fosters the self-motivation to get things done. Team-oriented everything and everyone's very respectful and fun. Everyone's super excited about it and no one's ever bored.Cons
Some weeks can get really hectic and stressful. There's quite a bit of work and always a lot of planning todo that can get overrun by laziness which means more work for other people.Advice to ManagementAdvice
I really like the way that they don't have to micromanage everyone yet they foster such an amazing work-culture that makes everyone excited to build something innovative and cool.RecommendsPositive OutlookApproves of CEO

I applied online - interviewed at Ooyala.Interview Details
2 phone screens randomly which were not that difficult at all. I cant believe not getting called for onsite after how well the phone screens went.
Interview 1 - Question - String and repeat occurances of that string using a dictionary in python.
Interview 2 - print the no of clustering 1's in a 2 d array . Discuss time and space complexity .
I was very surprised I was not called onsite. That itself shows how flaky the interviewr process can be.No OfferNegative ExperienceAverage Interview
