I worked at OpenTV (more than an year)

The boss was fair and reasonable. Hourly pay was reasonable for the work expectation.
Some of the regular dev employees had much higher time demands than I, so in that sense I was happy to be a contractor.

The projects I saw were not in the WOW factor grouping, like you really want to work on that project.
There is some favoritism in this place around shared foreign nationalities in my view.
I have seen it in other companies as well.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

This place is a unique in that it is owned by the son of Swiss billionaire who uses the company for a tax write off.
He is hands off which is good, but occasionally flies in on his private jet, has lobster with his top management, lectures the troops, then gets back on his plane and flies out of town only to redo the same six months later.
