    Pros

Paid week off holiday from Christmas Day through New Years Day… and flexibility to work from home occasionally, after that, not too much else

    Cons

With another recent reorganization (this is my 4th reorganization and 5th manager in 3 years) and downsizing of more staff, the management continually puts more and more workload on less and less employees. Most of the time you can’t keep up with the workload because there are no resources to delegate the responsibilities to for help so you put in extra hours (unpaid) just to try to keep your head above water. Seems like there are always hiring freezes and salary increases are tiny, if any.

    Advice to Management

don't try to put a positive spin with wording "workforce rebalancing" when you're laying off 5% (over 400 people) of the staff. Company tries to promote a good work/life balance or so they say, but when employees need to work extra hours to get the work done because staff size is limited, it's a bit far from the truth.

    Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took a weekinterviewed at OpenText.

    Interview

Easy and simple. More of a technical stuff. First I was called and was asked about my college project, study background, college, skill set and things like that. The there was a telephonic interview lasted for 30 minutes. Then I was called for in person interview session. I had two rounds of them. It was all java and bit of algorithm stuff like searching and sorting.
