I have been working at Outlook Amusements full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

This place is great, the company does well and shares that with its employees. Very nice office space and benefits as well as an overall good work atmosphere. Many people are passionate and perform their duties well and that helps create good teaming....All exec's are hands on and easy to work with...

    Cons

After reading the reviews, I read a lot of 'sour grapes' from folks that I can probably name. If you are not committed to working hard and doing your best, this isn't the place for you.

    Advice to Management

Continue to find good talent to help those of us that want to build the business. More involvement with staff in creating new products, rather than come up with ideas that make no sense or are not needed.

    Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Outlook Amusements.

    Interview

After applying I was contacted for a phone interview which seemed to be mostly for figuring out my phone etiquette. I then was asked to come in for an in person interview and I met with two different supervisors. One of the supervisors spent more time talking rather than asking me any questions, it didn't seem like this person had much interest in what I had to say/my qualifications. The second supervisor was much better and actually asked me questions directly having to do with my resume as well as standard interview questions. Overall pretty straightforward.

    Interview Questions

    • Since the position is in a psychic call center, it's that a subject matter you would be comfortable handling? Do you believe in/have experience with this subject matter?   Answer Question

    Negotiation

The only thing I was able to negotiate was my shift. I had been hired first out of about 5 people so they let me choose my hours and days off from the shifts available.
