the pay was excellent, another reason was that holidays were triple time, if you decided to work on that day

Some of the downsides of working for OI was that you had to work a rotating shift and the rotation was a weekly rotation

    Advice to Management

My advice to management if you are being considered for a position you should know that it is a union factory and it is very hard to get rid of the workers so what normally happens is that management gets blamed for most of the problems that happen and for that reason management doesn't last to long there

    I applied online – interviewed at Owens-Illinois.

I applied online, took about 2 months to get a HR interview, asking about behavior questions. Then interview with the hiring manager followed by an on site interview for a day. A very typical hiring process, questions were easy. The whole process took 5 months, got a disappointing answer from them.
