    I worked at Oxford University full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    world-class experts in the field, and world-class research facilities, and smart colleagues. Life is relaxing, and research culture in the UK in general is not as pushy as that in USA

    Cons

    very expensive to live, and salary is general too low to ensure a truly comfortable life.

    Interview Details

    One Skype interview from the United States. I was interviewed by a panel of six people that wanted to validate who I was and my ability to perform unique and creative research. I received a phone call a few days later informing me I had got the job.
