PATH is a great place to work, but reliance on donor funding limits its potential.

    Pros

Smart, humble staff and a great team environment. Beautiful building.

    Cons

Donor-driven environment. Donors often call the shots, leaving little opportunity for innovative activity outside of what is defined under our grants. Unclear growth trajectory for most staff. Not enough leadership hiring done from within the ranks (over-reliance on outside hires).

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Diversify the revenue models for creating global health impact. Pay attention to good staff.

    Application Details

I applied online – interviewed at PATH.

    Interview Details

Applied online and about two weeks later I received an email from the HR department asking to set up a phone interview with one of their global recruiters. The phone interview lasted 1/2 hour and revolved mostly around my previous experiences and why I wished to work for PATH.

    Interview Questions
    • The question that messed me up the most was simple, but the phrasing was confusing. She asked for an example of a time I've shown leadership. I answered in the way I believed applicable (people), but she clarified she was looking more for an answer that dealt with outputs (projects).   Answer Question
