Most security companies charge their employees for the training that they provide them with, and make them pay for their own security licenses. Additionally, they also make them pay for uniform deposits. Paladin Security is different. We pay all the up-front and ongoing costs for your security license, your uniform, and your training.
Many companies in our industry talk about their commitment to their people, but few demonstrate their commitment through their actions. To ensure that our staff members are supported and valued, we have created a senior position in each branch called the Employee Care Coordinator.
The Employee Care Coordinator is responsible for putting together programs and systems that increase the overall satisfaction of our large and varied workforce. Among other things, the ECC is also responsible for developing and administering reward and incentive programs, organizing company parties, and resolving general employee problems if and when they occur.
Paladin Security leads the security industry in reward, recognition, and incentive programs for our people. Each branch has Performer of the Month Awards, daily Field Manager's Choice Awards, and weekly Client Service Manager Choice Awards to recognize and thank our people for doing such wonderful work. These are monetary rewards and all winners and runners-up are also mentioned in our monthly newsletter, The Paladin Pipeline.
Paladin listens closely to our people. Not only do we hold regularly scheduled site meetings, site supervisor meetings and management meetings, but we also conduct extensive employee surveys at least once a year. The ‘Paladin Report Card’ solicits advice and suggestions from our staff on how we can improve the delivery of our services – both internal services, such as administering our benefits plan, and external services, such as providing security to a site.
