I have been working at Pandora

Great culture, upward mobility, work life balance, solid compensation, good free snacks. Also, the middle management is well trained. It's obviously a great resume builder and everyone loves pandora.

There aren't too many. I know some teams have it rougher than others. The client services team at pandora doesn't make commission like at other companies like Google, but that's one of the few draws.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Don't let the bar lower for hiring potential candidates. I've been working at pandora with awhile now and there are a few oddballs that snagged a job, hopefully the company doesn't have loose hiring criteria in the future. Also, expanding internationally should be made a top priority.

I applied online – interviewed at Pandora.

    Interview Details

The recruiter connected with me after my application through Linkedin reached her. Step 1 was very similar to any other recruiter-candidate QAs. Then the 2nd was phone IV with the Hiring Manager, which also went pretty well. The third was a collabedit session with one of the engineers from the team, which had basic questions of string-based algorithms and SQL. The thing is, the recrutier didnt even give me a feedback even after I followed up with her. She didnt reply, which I think is not professional. Feedback helps us to improve better and I think every company must work towards giving a feedback. As a candidate I felt to have wasted my time. The least I can get back from Pandora is a feedback or a polite reply of rejection.
